Scope of delivery
The SR 507 compressed air attachment upgrades existing respiratory protection systems into a continuous-flow compressed-air breathing apparatus and allows for flexible switching between fan-assisted and compressed-air modes. This solution is ideal for demanding, long-duration operations as well as for work areas with high concentrations of hazardous substances or inadequate warning indicators.
System & Application
The compressed air attachment is designed for connection to various Sundström hoods, helmets and visor systems, including the SR 520, SR 530, SR 561, SR 562, SR 570, SR 540 EX, SR 580 and SR 900. When combined, this creates a respiratory protection system with a continuous supply of compressed air.
The system allows switching between fan-assisted and compressed air operation within the same face mask, thereby significantly increasing flexibility in use. The SR 507 is particularly suitable for heavy and protracted work or for applications involving toxic pollutants where adequate warning signals are not available.
The use of low-spark materials also allows for use in potentially explosive and fire-hazardous areas. The integrated components also enable safe control of the air supply during operation.
