System solutions & kits – assemble sanding processes with compatible components
System solutions and kits help you choose when several products are needed together for a workflow. A coordinated process sequence and a specific product package are not the same. A system describes the interaction of tools and consumables; a kit has defined contents. Select by application and existing equipment rather than assuming the name means a complete workstation solution.
Define the process objective before package size
First determine substrate, initial condition and required final surface. These define processing stages and tools. A comprehensive kit is not automatically more economical if essential components are unsuitable. Conversely, a smaller set may suffice if a machine or extractor is already available.
Check contents item by item
Compare exact machine models, pads, abrasives, hoses and accessories. Images may show application scenes and do not replace a contents list. For cordless equipment, check whether battery and charger are included. Required adapters, dust bags or a particular grit are not automatically included in every package.
Check interfaces despite the set designation
Check how the package connects to your workshop. Mains supply, compressed air, hose connections and space must fit. A machine-specific accessory kit is not readily transferable to other equipment. Material-specific extraction and protection requirements remain, even when parts are offered together.
Consider replenishment and repeatability
Document product ranges, grits and pad combinations used. This allows targeted reordering and consistent workflows. A starter set may contain limited quantities. Check which items ongoing operation requires and whether their numbers are clearly identified in the supplied contents.

Is a kit always a complete workstation?
No. Contents are product-specific. Check machine, extraction, connections, consumables and power supply against the explicit list.
How does a sanding system differ from a set?
A system describes the coordinated processing sequence or component interaction. A set is a particular bundle of supplied products and may cover part of that system.
Are sets always cheaper than individual products?
No general answer is possible. Compare the contents actually needed and included. Unneeded components do not automatically make a package better.
