Storage & transport – organise sanding equipment and consumables
Storage and transport solutions help organise machines, accessories and consumables clearly. Suitable cases, boxes, inserts and holding systems protect as intended only when contents and loads match their design. Plan using actual equipment dimensions and workflows. Clean storage and secure fixing matter as much as convenient access at the site.
Plan contents and internal dimensions together
Check not just external case dimensions but usable space with the insert. Machine, pad, cable and accessories need suitable positions. Sensitive parts must not collide uncontrollably. An existing insert may be designed for one generation and is not automatically suitable for every similar machine.
Separate clean stock from used parts
Protect abrasives, polishing pads and microfibre cloths from contamination. Separate unused stock from dusty tools and contaminated materials. Store damp parts only according to care and storage instructions. Compartments labelled by grit and stage make material retrieval traceable.
Observe system connections and load limits
Stacking or coupling systems work only with intended components. Check closures, handles and permissible loads for the combination. A stacked box cannot automatically be carried using another device's handle. Vehicle transport needs suitable securing; a locked tool case alone is not complete load restraint.
Connect workstation and mobile use
Clear organisation reduces searching and simplifies completeness checks before relocation. Keep frequent parts accessible and avoid loading switches, plugs or hoses. Batteries, liquids and other special contents also have specific storage and transport requirements. An ordinary tool case does not establish special transport approval.

Does a system case fit every device of the same brand?
Not automatically. Coupling, dimensions and approved combinations may differ. Follow the specific system compatibility.
May I store clean polishing pads with sanding dust?
Avoid this. Introduced particles may later damage sensitive surfaces. Separate clean compartments or suitable packaging help organisation.
Is a tool case approved dangerous-goods packaging?
Not merely because it is strong or lockable. Check the contents' special packaging and transport requirements separately.
