How do I choose the right fitting (air/material, plug nipple, coupling)?
Relevant are nominal width/plug profile, thread standard/size (BSPP/G, BSPT, NPT, metric), sealing principle (tapered vs. parallel with sealing washer), required flow and pressure range. For pressure relief and safety, a safety coupling is recommended.
Which factors influence tightness, flow and safety?
