SATA adam X / adam X Pro - Digital precision for the painting process

The SATA adam X series offers advanced digital units that help painters standardise processes, achieve precise results and ensure reproducible painting quality. These units can be easily connected to the SATA jet X spray gun and offer a wide range of functions specifically tailored to the needs of professionals.

The SATA jet X is the most advanced spray gun from SATA. With its innovative X-nozzle system, it ensures exceptional surface quality for base coats and clear coats and helps to make the painting process simpler and more efficient. The digital units of the adam X series offer the possibility to precisely control the pressure and standardise the painting results.

Main functions of the adam X series:

• Digitally display input flow pressure: Displays the current pressure and the target pressure in real time so that the painter is always in control of the painting process.
• Ambient temperature: Measures and displays the temperature of the spray booth, which is particularly important for consistent painting results.
• Operating time: Tracks the hours of use of the spray gun to enable optimal maintenance and monitoring.

Menu structure:

The menu structure of the adam X series is divided into two levels for intuitive operation:

Main level:

• Current actual pressure: The current flow pressure applied during the painting process.
• Target pressure: The preset target pressure, which is adjusted to the individual painting process.
• Deviations visualised graphically: Deviations between target and actual pressure are visualised graphically. A deviation of more than 0.2 bar (3 PSI) triggers a visual alarm signal.
• Flow pressure at last trigger pull: The flow pressure measured the last time the trigger was pulled is also displayed.
• Ambient temperature and battery status: The ambient temperature of the spray booth and the charge status of the batteries are displayed on the main level.

Setting level:

• Set input flow pressure: The target value of the flow pressure can be set here, depending on the paint manufacturer's specifications or the painter's personal preferences.
• Pressure and temperature units: The units for pressure (Bar/PSI) and temperature (°C/°F) can be easily changed.
• Multi-gun mode (adam X Pro only): Enables the simultaneous use of two spray guns.
• Other settings: Functions such as normal pressure calibration, information on the hardware and software version and resetting the statistics.

The digital dashboard and statistics:

The adam X Pro keeps detailed statistics on operating hours, painting time and number of prints. This information can be transferred via a QR code to a personal dashboard that can be accessed on a PC or smartphone. Here, the collected data can be analysed and used to optimise the coating process.
