Scope of delivery
Ultimax® Ligno is designed for use in wood sanding. The special hourglass-shaped abrasive pattern enables fast, even removal, a long service life and good resistance to clogging. The specially developed, latex-impregnated paper ensures flexibility and high edge strength; in addition, the abrasive features the Mirka Multifit hole pattern.
Dust channels lead to the extraction holes, keep the abrasive grains engaged and allow air to circulate beneath the sanding sheet. This results in less heat build-up during sanding and prevents wood dust from forming a clogging mass. Dust channels of varying widths also cope with larger wood dust particles.
As wood dust poses a significant health risk in the workplace, Ultimax® Ligno was developed from the outset for Mirka’s dust-free sanding technology.
