Handling instructions:
- All equipment should be kept clean during operation. Otherwise, it may cause measurement errors and inaccurate verification.
- If there is any fog, dust or smudges on the surface of the worktop, please wipe it with lens paper or a soft cloth and anhydrous ethanol.
- The measuring port of the instrument should be attached to the measured surface to avoid external light leakage. If necessary, black light cloths and other items can be used to block the light around the measuring port. It is recommended to avoid blinding ambient measurements.
- Calibration and measurement or calibration procedures should be carried out at the same ambient temperature, otherwise large ambient temperature differences will lead to digital offsets.
- If the MG6 series gloss meter is not used for a long period of time, the battery should be removed to avoid corrosion and damage to the device.
All KSJ gloss meters are designed and manufactured in accordance with ISO 2813 and GB9754 and are also compatible with the standards ASTM D523, ASTM D2457, ISO7668, DIN67530, JIS Z 8741 and BS3900. The technical parameters comply with JJG696-2002.
