SAGOLA 3300 GTO Spray Gun – Professional Paint Spray Gun with High-Transfer Technology for Bodyshop, Industry, Wood & Decorative Applications (TECH/HVLP/EVO/EPA/64S/62S)

The SAGOLA 3300 GTO is a high-quality, versatile spray gun in the mid-high segment and was developed as a fusion of two proven product lines: the 3300 PRO (industry) and the 4100 GTO (bodyshop). The result is a spray gun that combines robustness, ergonomics and finish performance in one system – ideal for users who need consistent surface quality and high process reliability in everyday work.

The new forged, anodized aluminum body is designed for low weight while still delivering maximum stability. Together with the ergonomic grip and the stainless-steel trigger, the 3300 GTO enables comfortable, fatigue-reducing work – even during long shifts.

At its core are the High-Transfer nozzle sets and the new aluminum air caps (TECH/HVLP/EVO/EPA), which provide ultra-fine atomization, large spray patterns and highly controlled spray behavior. This reduces overspray, improves material utilization and ensures a clean, even surface finish. Depending on the system, the gun achieves a product transfer efficiency of at least 65% to 75%.

Thanks to the different systems, the 3300 GTO can be precisely tailored to the application: TECH (maximum speed & performance in the bodyshop), HVLP (maximum savings & minimal mist), EVO (speed & efficiency in industry/wood), EPA (minimal air consumption with excellent finishes), as well as 64S/62S for high-viscosity materials with large nozzle sizes.

For many users, the 3300 GTO is also an attractive professional alternative to SATA (and comparable premium spray guns) when a gun is needed that offers very fine atomization, high transfer efficiency and practical robustness – with a highly compelling price-to-performance ratio and the ability to fine-tune spray behavior through different air cap systems to match the material and process.

Especially practical: For the Bodyshop TECH/HVLP versions, the RC2 air flow regulator with analog pressure gauge is intended as a sensible setup to set the working pressure safely and reproducibly (ideal for consistent results).

  • Forged, anodized aluminum body – lightweight, robust, corrosion-protected
  • High-transfer system (min. 65–75%) – less overspray, more efficient material usage
  • New aluminum air caps – ultra-fine atomization & large spray patterns for premium surface quality
  • Low maintenance & durable – simplified design, fewer parts, quick cleaning

Variant Overview

The SAGOLA 3300 GTO is modular: you choose the system (air cap) and the matching nozzle size (mm) based on material, desired finish and working style. As a general rule: smaller nozzles for finer finishes (clear coat/top coat) and larger nozzles for fillers/primers or high-viscosity products. The variants below match the typical system ranges: Bodyshop (TECH/HVLP), Industry/Wood/Decor (EVO/EPA/HVLP) and High Viscosity (64S/62S).

Variant / Designation Version Best for
TECH air cap & 1.20 mm GTO TECH (Bodyshop – high speed & maximum spray quality) For very fine finishes and controlled application (e.g., clear coat with high quality requirements).
TECH air cap & 1.30 mm GTO TECH (Bodyshop) Universal for bodyshops: clear coat/HS-MS and top coat when a strong mix of speed and control is needed.
TECH air cap & 1.40 mm GTO TECH (Bodyshop) For users who want higher material flow for top coats/single-stage or slightly heavier application.
HVLP air cap & 1.20 mm GTO HVLP (Bodyshop – max. saving / min. mist) For very fine surfaces with maximum savings and minimal mist – especially pleasant for close-to-cabin work.
HVLP air cap & 1.30 mm GTO HVLP (Bodyshop) Very well balanced – ideal for uniform application (also suitable for waterborne basecoats).
HVLP air cap & 1.40 mm HVLP (Industry/Wood/Decor) For finishes & primers with a focus on material savings and a clean spray pattern.
HVLP air cap & 1.60 mm HVLP (Industry/Wood/Decor) For primers/fillers or higher viscosity when more flow is required – still with low overspray.
HVLP air cap & 1.80 mm HVLP (Industry/Wood/Decor) For thicker primers/fillers and higher film builds – when high application rate is required.
EVO air cap & 1.30 mm 3300 EVO (High speed of application / maximum spray quality) For industrial/wood finishes when high productivity must be combined with very fine atomization.
EVO air cap & 1.40 mm 3300 EVO Very well balanced for top coats/clear coats in industry and wood – a strong mix of build & finish.
EVO air cap & 1.60 mm 3300 EVO For primers/fillers in faster serial processes – when throughput and speed matter.
EPA air cap & 1.40 mm 3300 EPA (Min. air consumption / great finishes) For users who want to reduce air consumption while still achieving excellent surfaces (e.g., continuous use, energy-efficient operation).
EPA air cap & 1.60 mm 3300 EPA Highly efficient for primers/fillers – when flow is required but air draw should remain low.
EPA air cap & 1.80 mm 3300 EPA For higher film builds/more viscous media – with a focus on low air consumption.
64S air cap & 2.20 mm 64S (High Viscosity) For high-viscosity products when standard nozzles do not provide enough flow and stable material delivery is required.
62S air cap & 2.80 mm 62S (High Viscosity – maximum delivery rate) For very thick materials and high film builds – when maximum throughput is required (e.g., wood/industry).

Accessories/Variants: In addition to air cap and nozzle size options, we offer matching accessories to perfectly adapt the spray gun to your process – especially useful for reproducible pressure settings, clean filtration and comfortable handling: RC2 air flow regulator with analog pressure gauge, 650 ml plastic gravity cup, aluminum gravity cup, and product mini filters (pack of 10).

Nozzle Sets (Nozzle + Needle) – Selection Guide

The 3300 GTO uses nozzle set kits (nozzle + needle). This ensures the nozzle and needle match perfectly, which directly affects atomization, material flow and surface quality. Choosing the right set helps prevent runs, reduce mist and build up evenly.

  • 1.20 – 1.30 mm: very fine finishes (clear coat, premium top coats, clean texture)
  • 1.40 mm: universal (top coat, clear coat, solid mix of build & control)
  • 1.60 – 1.80 mm: primer/filler, higher viscosity, more flow
  • 2.20 – 2.80 mm: high-viscosity products with 64S/62S air caps (maximum material flow)

If you briefly tell me whether it’s for clear coat, waterborne basecoat, top coat, filler or a high-viscosity material (and your desired film build), I can recommend the right combination of air cap + nozzle size.

Tip: HVLP is ideal if you want to save material and minimize overspray. TECH is the choice for maximum speed and top performance in the bodyshop. EPA is recommended if air consumption needs to be especially low, while EVO is often the best mix of speed and finish in industrial/wood applications.

Purpose / Use Cases

The 3300 GTO is a true all-round system because it covers multiple application worlds. The key is the combination of the air cap (spray behavior) and the nozzle size (material flow).

  • Bodyshop / automotive refinishing: HS/MS clear coats, single stage, waterborne, metallics, silver/pearl (TECH/HVLP)
  • Industry: top coats, clear coats, industrial coatings, primers – robust, reproducible, efficient (EVO/EPA/HVLP)
  • Wood & furniture: coatings/clear coats, waterborne systems, solvent-based systems – excellent finishes and high throughput (EVO/EPA)
  • Decorative applications: very clean finishes with reduced air consumption (EPA)
  • Primer/filler: larger nozzle sizes for build-up and consistent film thickness (HVLP/EVO/EPA 1.60–1.80)
  • High-viscosity products: when maximum delivery rate is required (64S 2.20 / 62S 2.80)
  • Serial production: low-maintenance design & fast cleaning – ideal for daily use

The 3300 GTO is especially useful wherever finish quality, material efficiency and process reliability are required at the same time – from workshops to industrial series production.
