Scope of delivery
The Elcometer 331B concrete cover meter is a reliable entry-level instrument for locating, aligning and measuring the depth of reinforcing steel in concrete. It enables the concrete cover to be determined quickly and accurately, thereby facilitating the safe planning of maintenance and repair work.
System & Application
The meter operates using a probe that is moved across the concrete surface and locates reinforcing bars via acoustic and visual signals. As soon as the sensor approaches a reinforcing bar, the signal strength increases and the concrete cover is displayed directly on the screen. Ideal for construction monitoring, renovation and non-destructive testing of concrete structures.
