Why is the round and flat jet control of my spray gun defective?
A defective round and wide jet regulation can lead to irregular spray patterns and impair the quality of the paintwork. This is often caused by an incorrectly inserted or damaged air diffuser ring.
What can be done if the round and flat jet control is defective?
- Replace the air distribution ring and insert it correctly: Make sure that the plug of the air distribution ring fits into the intended hole and press the ring in evenly with both thumbs.
- Hand-tighten the paint nozzle: Use the SATA key tool to tighten the paint nozzle, then loosen it and tighten it again.
- Note: The paint nozzle should only be fitted using the original tool. The SATA cleaning instructions will help you to fit it correctly.
What causes defective round and flat fan control?
- Incorrect or damaged air distribution ring: An incorrectly inserted or damaged air distribution ring can redistribute the air flow and create an irregular spray pattern.
