Correct airless spraying is not particularly difficult for an experienced painter and varnisher, but we would like to give you a brief introduction to the world of airless spraying
:
- Place the airless device in the material to be processed and set the correct material pressure directly on the material pressure regulator.
- If the material pressure is too low, this will be indicated by a poor spray jet or poor spray pattern. Simply and quickly increase the material pressure directly on the airless device until the spray pattern meets expectations.
- It is best to hold the airless gun about 30cm from the workpiece to be processed. Ideally, work with just under 50% overlap with the material already applied to obtain a clean surface.
- To achieve a horizontal spray, simply turn the airless gun horizontally to achieve the desired spray pattern. Turning is done directly on the airless nozzle holder. The changed position is ideal for spraying corners.

Which materials are suitable for application with an airless paint sprayer?
Airless paint sprayers can be used to process a wide range of low to high viscosity materials. This depends on the performance of the corresponding device.
The following materials, among others, can be processed using the airless paint spraying method:
- water-based or solvent-based 1 and 2-component paints
- primers
- primers,
- stains
- fillers
- Interior and exterior emulsion paints, such as facade paints
- latex paints
- corrosion protection
- Airless spray fillers and roof coating materials
How are airless paint sprayers constructed?
Airless paint sprayers can be driven pneumatically, electrically or by a combustion engine. The system basically consists of a pump, a high-pressure hose, an airless spray gun and a nozzle. Pressure is built up by means of a piston or a membrane, which draws the material out of the container and then pumps it through the hose to the nozzle, where it is finally finely atomised.
