Safety Checklist Before Use

✅ Check Before Starting Work

  • Locking screw [1-14] firmly installed (max. 1 Nm)
  • Blow out compressed air line thoroughly
  • No damage or missing parts
  • Use only SATA original spare parts
  • Workplace free of ignition sources

❌ Prohibited Actions

  • Never point at living beings
  • No acid-, alkali-, or gasoline-containing media
  • Do not use with impaired reaction ability
  • No unauthorized modifications
  • Do not use near open flames

Assembly Instructions: Changing the Nozzle Set

⚠️ Important Note: During assembly work on the nozzle set there is a risk of injury from sharp edges. Wear work gloves and use the SATA extraction tool away from the body!

Disassembly of the Nozzle Set

  1. Interrupt compressed air supply to the air connection [1-8]
  2. Loosen locknut [1-4]
  3. Unscrew adjusting screw [1-3] with locknut from gun body
  4. Remove spring and paint needle [7-3]
  5. Unscrew air nozzle [7-1]
  6. Unscrew paint nozzle [7-2] from gun body with universal wrench

Assembly of the New Nozzle Set

  1. Screw paint nozzle [7-5] into gun body with universal wrench
  2. Screw on air nozzle [7-1]
  3. Insert paint needle [7-3] and spring
  4. Screw in adjusting screw [1-3] with locknut
  5. Tighten locknut [1-4]
Warning: Always replace the entire nozzle set (air nozzle, paint nozzle, paint needle). Assembly sequence must be strictly observed – never screw in paint nozzle against a paint needle under tension!
