Components & spare parts – clear identification for maintenance and repair
Components and spare parts are needed when a component is worn, damaged or requires replacement during professional repair. Machine model and part number determine selection. Similar shape or identical brand is insufficient. Before ordering, also clarify whether replacement addresses the cause and who may perform the work.
Identify components through documentation
Use a parts list or exploded diagram for the exact equipment. Position and article numbers may differ and must not be confused. Check whether the list covers the existing generation. If identification is unclear, rating-plate details and a useful photograph help.
Distinguish individual parts from assemblies
A shown component may be available only as a complete assembly or require additional seals, screws and elements. Compare supplied contents with the intended repair. A single wear part is not automatically sufficient if adjacent mounts or surfaces are damaged. Diagnose before replacing parts.
Check compatibility down to equipment generation
Technical changes may occur within similarly named ranges. Observe serial number, build version and manufacturer replacement references. Use an alternative number only with confirmed compatibility. This avoids incorrect orders and unsuitable mixtures of versions.
Plan professional installation and testing
Follow dismantling, installation and final functional-check requirements. Electrical and other safety-relevant work requires appropriately qualified personnel. Disconnect energy as instructed and use prescribed tools. A fully assembled machine can return to service only after required tests and approvals.

Frequently asked questions: components & spare parts
Is the number in an exploded diagram the order number?
Not always. It may only mark the drawing position. The associated list gives the article number and, where applicable, assembly contents.
Is a photograph enough for reliable ordering?
A photograph helps but does not always replace model and part numbers. Similar components or multiple generations require additional rating-plate details.
Can a spare part always resolve a malfunction?
No. Identify the cause first. Replacing a visible wear part may be insufficient if other components or the supply are affected.
