Airless Plus / Aircombi is an air-assisted airless spraying method used in areas such as corrosion protection, in the wood and furniture industry, construction machinery and metal processing.
The difference to traditional airless spraying is that air is supplied to the spray gun via a second hose.
Traditionally, material is pressed through the nozzle at between 30 and 150 bar and the added atomising air encases the spray jet, creating a soft boundary. The wide range of nozzles for the Airless Plus / Aircombi spraying process always offers the perfect nozzle variant for different materials such as water-based paints, solvent-based paints, primers or even two-component paints. The size of the bore determines the flow rate and the spray angle determines the width of the spray jet. All beschicht. All Airless Plus nozzles are made of hard metal and have a pre-atomiser that ensures better and finer atomisation. This significantly improves the surface quality. The hard metal of the Airless Plus nozzles gives them a very long service life.
The air-assisted airless spraying method, also known as the Aircombi method, is ideal for water- and solvent-based paints and varnishes.
The advantages of this air-assisted Airless Plus method:
- surfaces of higher quality than with the conventional airless method
- Lower material consumption due to less overspray
- faster application (high area coverage / working speed) due to larger application quantity compared to the airspray method
- In principle, this can be considered a very economical spraying method for larger applications.
