There are different airless hoses and these differ mainly in the inner diameter, the connections and the length. The following article will help you to find the right airless hose.
For a higher viscous material, such as facade paint, putty or glue, a hose with a larger inner diameter is used. In contrast to lower viscous material, such as varnishes or glazes, hoses with a smaller inner diameter are used. The length depends on the respective project and the respective delivery rate of the airless paint sprayer or piston pump. The connections also depend on the material, and so stainless steel or galvanised steel are used for water-based paints. Accordingly, smaller threads such as 1/4" are used for the thinner hoses. For medium hose diameters, 3/8" is used, and for a DN 13 high-pressure hose, for example, 1/2" is used.
Finding the right airless high-pressure hose is relatively easy because it depends largely on the material to be processed.

- DN 4: 1/4": solvent- and water-based varnishes, glazes or primers
- DN 6; 1/4": solvent and water-based dispersion, facade paint and varnish

- DN 13; 1/2": solvent and water-based paints, emulsion, facade paints, primers, adhesives and fillers.
