Mirka® AIROS is the first intelligent electric sander developed specifically for robotic sanding applications. The Mirka AIROS® automatic industrial random-orbit sander is housed in a robust yet lightweight aluminium casing, fitted with an ISO 9409-1-compatible flange for mechanical robot coupling. It can be adapted to all mechanical couplings and offers maximum flexibility. Its intelligent two-way communication capability and precise speed control enable full control of the sanding process and ensure consistent quality. Mirka® AIROS is IP66-rated and is therefore suitable for all sanding applications, including wet sanding and safe use on most materials.
