The dust shroud for the Mirka® DEROS RS has been designed to optimise dust extraction and effectively direct dust away from the work surface into the dust extraction system, thereby ensuring a clean working environment. For optimum dust extraction, particularly when using coarse abrasives, it is highly recommended to use the Mirka dust shroud in combination with the protective pad or the soft pad. Using the Mirka protective pad and the dust guard together improves the overall performance of your sanding work, as dust and debris are effectively removed. This not only keeps your workplace clean but also extends the service life of your sander. To fit the dust guard, first locate the rotating arrows on both the dust guard and the housing of your sander. Align the arrows carefully. When fitting the dust guard, ensure that the arrows are aligned with one another. This ensures that the dust guard is correctly fitted and ready for use.
