The unique Abranet® Max Flap Disc has a reinforced cloth backing and offers high performance without clogging or overheating. Minimal clogging ensures even and stable sanding over a long period of time, and maintaining a low temperature in the sanding zone prevents burning and melting of the processed materials.
The Abranet® Max Flap Disc leaves an excellent surface quality for subsequent paint application, eliminating the need for an additional processing step. The consistent aggressiveness throughout the entire sanding process and the long service life of the Abranet® Max Flap Disc enable considerable time and cost savings.
The areas of application are in metalworking, woodworking and construction. E.g. aluminium processing, removal of old paint and corrosion on metal surfaces, sanding work without overheating the surface, stripping paint from wood, including resinous woods and woods with a high moisture content, processing ends and removing old paint from beams in timber house construction. Recommended for Mirka® ANGOS ARG-B.
