Graco's heated hoses are specially designed for use with Reactor appliances. Hoses are a central component for the entire system. It is therefore important to achieve precise and uniform heating to ensure the best possible application.
For Reactor dosing devices
The new multi-core copper heating element has significantly improved hose quality:
- Provides 10 times* the service life of previous flat copper heating elements
- Long-term, uniform heating without "hot spots"
- Backwards compatible with existing heated Reactor hoses
The new Xtreme Wrap wear protection
- Form-fit with the hose, no more baggy excess material
- Made from urethane-coated ballistic nylon for puncture and tear resistance, abrasion protection and oil and water resistance
- Releases surface moisture and does not absorb water that would weigh down hose bundles; will not freeze in cold temperatures
- Hook-and-loop housing along the entire length of the hose for easy access to hoses, fittings and material temperature sensors
Joint protection
- The joint protector provides additional protection at the most sensitive point of the hose: the electrical connections, hose fittings and material temperature sensors. All 15 m (50 ft) hoses with the new Xtreme wrap include a joint protector.
- The copper heated hoses are specifically designed for use with Graco dispensers
- Coated with a proprietary butyl layer to protect against moisture-sensitive isocyanates.
- Hoses are equipped with foam insulation for heat retention
- Different fitting sizes on the hoses for isocyanates and resin prevent accidental connection of the wrong hoses
- Hoses use a customised connection kit to electrically connect the hoses without having to lay copper under the fittings
- Spiral whip end hose with braided copper wires for added flexibility and longer life
Resistance temperature sensor (RTD)
- For its latest state-of-the-art control developments, Graco has utilised RTD technology on the Reactor 2 and Integrated Reactor. RTDs offer the highest precision and best reproducibility of material temperature in the hose from one day to the next. RTD technology allows the machine to automatically shut down if a sensor is damaged, minimising time and material wastage.
