Finixa Sharp Foam Pads are manufactured in an environmentally friendly production line that uses only solvent-free adhesives! We believe that it is in everyone's interest to further develop ecological production methods.
We took our responsibility seriously years ago by avoiding solvent-based adhesives as much as possible. Some of the sanding pads on the market today are still coated with a solvent-based adhesive. These are not only of lower quality, but also contribute significantly to air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.
In addition, the solvent-free adhesive of Finixa Sharp Foam Pads is not only flexible, but above all much more elastic than solvent-based adhesives. This is a great advantage in terms of durability, as the Finixa Sharp Foam Pads are less likely to tear. The solvent-free adhesive is also heat-resistant. No reduction in performance just because of grinding friction.
The Finixa Sharp Foam Pads are additionally coated with a ceramic-coated aluminium oxide grain, which makes them stronger and more durable. Another advantage is that the ceramic coating also counteracts clogging, which also leads to a more even sanding result. The choice of the more expensive red ceramic grain AO makes the product unique and clearly recognisable in combination with the imprint on the side.
