Elcometer Dual Element Transducers for MTG Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges
The right transducer determines the result. Lower frequencies penetrate deeper into coarse-grained or highly attenuating materials such as cast iron and GRP; higher frequencies resolve thinner walls more finely. All transducers are right angle, potted, automatically recognised by the gauge and supplied with a calibration certificate.
The highly damped 5 and 7.5 MHz transducers support Echo-Echo ThruPaint™ mode for measuring through coatings.
