The **Procart cardboard filter** is an effective and environmentally friendly filter medium for separating paint spray mist in painting and coating systems. Its unique accordion-fold design gives it an extremely high storage capacity.
Design and operating principle
The filter uses the **inertial separation principle** for paint separation:
Structure and material
- **Material:** High-strength, recyclable cardboard (kraft paper).
- **Structure:** Folded construction (accordion design) with regular openings.
- **Function:** The air laden with paint mist is directed through the V-shaped folds. The abrupt changes in direction cause the heavy paint pigments to collide with the cardboard walls and be retained in the folds, while the air escapes.
