Optionally, and depending on the requirements of the respective area of application of the P1 double diaphragm pump, it is recommended to install a pressure equalisation tank/P1 P pulsation damper. Pulsation dampers store and discharge part of the stroke volume in the stroke rhythm of the double diaphragm pump, whereby the gas cushion in the damper is compressed or decompressed accordingly. This makes the pulsating flow rate of the pump almost uniform.
