The YT8200, YT8300 and YT8500 three-angle glossmeters with touchscreens are professional split-type dual-use instruments designed for fast and precise non-destructive coating thickness measurement on metallic substrates. Thanks to their external probe, these instruments are particularly suitable for hard-to-reach measurement points and flexible industrial applications.

The instruments combine magnetic induction and eddy current measurement in a compact testing system, enabling reliable measurements on both magnetic and non-magnetic metals. This makes the instruments ideal for measuring paints, powder coatings, electroplated layers, galvanised coatings, chrome layers, as well as protective and insulating coatings.

The models differ mainly in their maximum measurement range:

YT8200: 0–2000 µm
YT8300: 0–3000 µm
YT8500: 0–5000 µm
