3nh YT6200 Touchscreen Triangular Gloss Meter – Coating Thickness Measurement: Combination Instrument

The YT6200, YT6300 and YT6500 three-angle gloss meters with touchscreens are professional dual-purpose instruments designed for fast and accurate non-destructive coating thickness measurement on metallic substrates. The instruments combine magnetic induction and eddy current measurement in an integrated sensor system, thereby enabling reliable measurements on both magnetic and non-magnetic materials.

Thanks to automatic substrate detection, the instruments are ideal for measuring paints, powder coatings, electroplated layers, galvanised coatings, chrome layers, as well as protective and insulating coatings on steel, aluminium, stainless steel, copper and other metals.

The models differ mainly in their maximum measurement range:

YT6200: 0–2000 µm
YT6300: 0–3000 µm
YT6500: 0–5000 µm

Dual-use measurement method

The integrated Fe/NFe probe automatically detects the respective substrate and independently selects the appropriate measurement method:
