Scope of delivery
The SR 518 A2 gas filter has been specially developed for use in Sundström SR 500 and SR 500 EX fan-assisted respirators and offers reliable protection against organic gases and vapours. Thanks to optimised activated carbon adsorption, it is ideal for applications involving solvents and chemical vapours.
System & Application
The SR 518 A2 is a Class A2 gas filter and protects against organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65 °C, such as those typically encountered during painting, gluing or cleaning work.
The filter is intended exclusively for use in powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) systems and is screwed directly into the blower unit.
Important: The fan system must always be operated with two particle filters or two combination filters to ensure complete protection.
For particle protection, the SR 518 A2 can be combined with the SR 510 P3 R particle filter.
