Sundström SR 515 fuel filter ABE1

The SR 515 ABE1 gas filter is designed for use in the Sundström SR 500 and SR 500 EX blower units and offers reliable protection against a wide range of gases and vapours. Thanks to the combination of several filter classes, it is ideally suited to demanding industrial applications with fluctuating contaminant levels.

System & Application

The SR 515 is a multi-range gas filter (ABE1) and provides reliable protection against:

Type A – organic gases and vapours (e.g. solvents, boiling point > 65 °C)
Type B – inorganic gases and vapours (e.g. chlorine, hydrogen sulphide)
Type E – acidic gases and vapours (e.g. sulphur dioxide, hydrogen fluoride)

The filter has been specially developed for use in powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) systems and is integrated directly into the blower unit.

The blower unit must always be operated with two particle filters or two combination filters to ensure complete protection.

For additional particle protection, the filter can be combined with the SR 510 P3 R particle filter.
