Respiratory protection systems from SATA, whether as a bonnet or half mask, impress with their maximum protective function, long service life and comfortable wearing properties. This means health protection with complete freedom of movement and a high level of acceptance among painters.

Respiratory protective devices can be categorised into two types: ambient air-independent devices and ambient air-dependent devices. Ambient air-independent systems supply the painter with breathing air from an area outside the working environment via a compressed air hose. This air is usually additionally purified by a filter system. In ambient air-dependent systems, on the other hand, the air comes from the working environment, which is contaminated with particles and vapours. The filters for cleaning the breathing air are located on the mask.
