Scope of delivery
The CC2000 cross-cut adhesion tester is used to test the adhesion strength of coatings and paints using the cross-cut method. In this process, the coating is cut down to the substrate using a suitable round blade, creating a right-angled cross-cut pattern.
After applying a standard-compliant adhesive tape, the coating’s resistance to peeling can be assessed. The evaluation is carried out visually using the magnifying glass provided.
System & Application
The device is suitable for quality control, laboratory applications and testing directly on coated components. It is used to assess the adhesion of paints, varnishes and coatings.
