Scope of delivery
Mirka IRIDIUM™ Soft sanding discs, Ø 125 mm,
are high-quality foam sanding discs designed for precise
dry sanding in professional automotive,
painting and industrial applications. The sanding discs
have been specially developed for applications where
a uniform surface finish, flexible
adaptation to contours and efficient dust extraction
are crucial.
Thanks to the flexible foam backing, the
abrasive adapts perfectly to curves, edges and
complex surfaces. This results in a
consistent sanding finish combined with
controlled material removal and a long
service life of the abrasive grain.
System & operating principle
IRIDIUM™ Soft is based on a
three-layer abrasive structure:
• Aluminium oxide abrasive grain for efficient material removal
• Flexible foam backing (approx. 5 mm) for even pressure distribution
• Soft-Grip backing for secure hold on sanding discs
The integrated Mirka Multifit™ holepattern
enables efficient dust extraction
and reduces clogging of the abrasive.
This keeps the sanding performance consistent
and ensures a particularly even finish.
