The MF backing pad is supplied with a special MF protective layer that acts as a protective layer between the backing pad and the protective layer. The backing pad extends the life of the backing pad by preventing wear during continuous, aggressive sanding. The protective layer can also be purchased separately.
The MF backing pad is optimised for:
- Accident repairs: Suitable for paint removal, body filler, primer and clear coat
- Fine sanding with Galaxy: Minimises dust accumulation during fine sanding
- Marine applications: Effective when sanding gel coat, top coat and primers
