By measuring and recording the performance of the drying oven and the material, the optimum degree of curing or dryness can be achieved. This ideal value can then be reliably reproduced so that optimum product quality can be guaranteed. Excessive or insufficient drying can lead to significant deterioration of the coating, such as poor adhesion of the substrate, impaired quality appearance (colour and gloss discrepancies), chalking and fading as well as premature cracking. These defects can lead to warranty claims.

Software
PaintView is an easy-to-use software package designed exclusively for use in the painting and finishing industry and is supplied free of charge with every OQ610 temperature logger. It enables easy set-up of the logger and automatic downloading of data from the logger into a meaningful measure of paint cure. For advanced paint curing calculations, it can also enable quick interpretation of results. PaintView also offers the added benefits of graphically analysing historical and online data as well as advanced reporting. PaintView can be easily set up in the shortest possible time and with the least amount of effort. When used regularly, it can localise uneven temperatures within the stoving process. This improves the quality of your process, reducing errors and helping to avoid costly rework in the future.Functions
