Which systems are included in the flat-rate maintenance fee?
Gema handpieces. Work on the device trolley (e.g. vibration motor or control unit) is not included in the maintenance.
What exactly is done and what is included in the exchange?
We check the powder gun: Replacement of wear parts (nozzles, electrode holder, powder tube, and if necessary, hook cover), checking the gun function (high-voltage measurement and power of the cascade are checked)
We check the injector: Replacement of wear parts (propellant nozzle, collecting nozzle, filter elements, O-rings if necessary, hose connection to the gun)
We check the hose and replace if necessary: hose (6m standard length, longer possible on customer request), hose connection to the injector)
If other defects are found, will we provide a cost estimate?
- definitely.
Which wear parts are included in the maintenance
– see calculation tool. I like to think in terms of "categories" and divide the system into assemblies that are the same. So the pistol and injector are the two units that are relevant for us and the customer in terms of maintenance. Sometimes the fluid base in the suction unit is added to this. It's a good thing you wrote again. I probably overlooked that. In terms of costs, it's about €65, but it's rarely replaced. So I wouldn't necessarily include it in a service.
What processing time do we assume? 1 week with sending back and forth?
- 1-2 weeks processing time
What do you get for the service?
The customer receives a refurbished system, plus a maintenance log (various QA standards require regular maintenance for certification, for example). The maintenance log contains the replaced parts and measured values on date x.
