The Elcometer 138/2 Surface Contamination Kit provides the ability to test for invisible surface contaminants.
Measuring the level of contaminants on a surface before the coating is applied is important to ensure the quality of the coating and that it achieves its optimum service life.
If the coating is applied to a contaminated surface that has not been properly prepared, it could fail prematurely, resulting in costly re-coating and high maintenance costs.
The Elcometer 138/2 Surface Contamination Kit provides the user with a means of testing invisible surface contaminants including:
