How to use the Elcometer 130 Soluble Salt Profiler

1. Wearing clean, disposable gloves (supplied), fill a syringe with exactly 1.6ml of deionised water.	2. Using tweezers, remove one filter paper from the package and place it on the cleaned, unlabelled side of the included magnetic disc.	3. Dispense the water from the syringe evenly over the entire filter paper and remove all bubbles from under the paper.
4. Place the magnetic disc with the moistened paper facing down on the area to be tested, press it firmly into all contours or irregularities and start the 2-minute timer on the measuring device.	5. After two minutes, carefully remove the filter paper and magnetic disc from the test surface and place them on the measuring electrodes.	6. Since each filter paper remains on the surface for two minutes, multiple tests can be performed simultaneously, further reducing inspection times.
7. Close the lid and make sure that the magnetic lock is fully engaged. The measuring device starts measuring.	8. The reading will appear on the screen in the selected display mode.	9. Place the filter paper in a resealable bag (included) if necessary for further analysis.
