Controlling deposits in pipework and monitoring their build-up is vital to maintain hygiene standards and reduce the risk of fire in heating and ventilation systems.
The Elcometer 456 Duct Deposit Measurement System has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of the DTT (Deposit Thickness Test) in the HVCA (Heating & Ventilation Contractor's Association) Guide to Good Practice for measuring dust and grease deposits inside ferrous metal ventilation systems and kitchen ducting.
By using the Elcometer 456 Ferrous Top Gauge with the specially designed probe and duct cleaning templates, measurements of deposit thickness can be taken on a specified test area before and after cleaning.
ElcoMaster™ Software 2.0, supplied as standard with the Elcometer 456 Duct Deposit Measurement System, includes a template specifically designed for reporting duct deposit measurements.
