The Elcometer 142 Dust Tape Test Kit allows you to assess the amount and size of dust particles on surfaces being prepared for painting. Dust on blasted surfaces can reduce the adhesion of the coating, leading to premature coating failure and a poor coating finish.
Used in conjunction with the Elcometer 145 Dust Tape Roller Kit, it can be used as either a pass/fail test or a permanent record of the presence of dust in accordance with the recommendations of BS EN ISO 8502-3. Supplied in a carry case for use on site to assess surface cleanliness.
