The Elcometer hygrometers are used to determine the dew point and relative humidity at a specific time.
The Elcometer 116A Whirling Hygrometer is available in the Celsius scale. Instructions for determining relative humidity (RH) are included with each instrument and the dew point can be accurately determined using the Elcometer 114 Dew Point Calculator.
The Elcometer 116C Sling Hygrometer, shown in the photograph as the black unit, is a handy, stand-alone instrument with an integral slide rule for calculating %RH and dew point. This hygrometer has alcohol filled thermometers and is available in either °C or °F scales.
