The DeVilbiss PRO Lite E is the more powerful version of the PRO Lite, which has been specially developed for the heavy-duty processing of ceramic and glass enamel.
The material paths in the coated gun body are lined with a special sealing material so that the coating material only comes into contact with stainless steel. This prevents corrosion problems or material incompatibility.
The gun body is provided with a special coating. This simplifies cleaning and also increases the resistance of the device.
The needle of the spray gun is provided with a special wear-resistant needle packaging to prevent the aggressive effect of ceramic coatings on the sliding needle shaft.
Advantages
- Forged aluminium gun body with black Quickclean™ coating and special needle packing for a longer service life
- Comprehensive range of conventional air caps
- Wide range of nozzles and needles in stainless steel, hardened steel or carbide for all abrasive materials
- Stainless steel material paths with larger inner diameter for flow rates of up to 3.5 l/min for heavy ceramic glazes
Typical areas of application
- All glaze and enamel coatings
- Stoving enamels
- Almost all abrasive materials
- Difficult to apply materials and high solids
A PRO Lite for ceramics!
A gun specially designed for ceramics on a
a PRO Lite body
- The PRO Lite E
- But let's also look at the additional
features...
Pro Lite E specifications
The ceramics industry has specific requirements for spray gun design
- Demanding spraying environment
- Service life of the needle seal
- Needle and nozzle service life
- Atomisation of dense and heavy coating materials
- Designed for material flow rates < 3.5 litres/min
- Conventional air atomisation to achieve the required energy levels
energy levels - Smaller size and lower weight for long spraying times
QuickClean
QuickClean is our trademarked term for a patented, modified aluminium anodising process developed in the USA.
- It has been successfully used on DeVilbiss Tekna manual spray guns, which have been sold in the USA since 2010.
- In the process, a hard anodised layer is impregnated with PTFE to achieve a coating with better properties than the normal hard anodised coatings.
- Higher wear and abrasion resistance
- Cleanability: Significantly reduces dirt adhesion and simplifies cleaning.
cleaning - Excellent corrosion resistance - water-based and acidic coatings
- Increased hardness: Spray gun body with longer service life
What makes the QuickClean body so special?
- QuickcleanTM coating of body (inside and outside)
- 1.8, 2.2 and 2.8 TC nozzle and needle available (suitable for 62, 64 and 67 air caps)
- Modified material needle profiles for 2.8, 2.2, 1.8 and 1.4 ceramic material nozzles
- No air baffle (improved air flow at high inlet pressure, less risk of confusion for the operator)
- Multi-layer needle seal design (Upgradeable seal for paint, ceramic or UV coatings)
- Stainless steel material paths (Increased corrosion resistance with
ceramic and enamel coatings) - Enlarged diameter of the material paths (Reduced resistance with
material flows of ceramic coatings with high viscosity/high volume) - External hexagon on material inlet adapter (easy removal of material supply hose in the event of freezing)
- Optional hexagonal adjusting screw for needle seal (effortless seal change)
- Nickel-plated brass retaining ring (maximum abrasion and corrosion resistance in ceramic environments)
- New specifically designed front end attachments to duplicate and exceed the performance of JGA 62AC, 64D and 67E
- A range of alternative caps and nozzles are available for this gun
