Aircombi Airmix spray guns

Innovative spraying method for perfect surface coating

Air Combi, also known as Airless Plus or Airmix, is an advanced air-assisted airless spraying method used in a wide range of industries. Whether it's for corrosion protection, in the wood and furniture industry, for construction machinery or in metal processing – Aircombi offers a wide range of applications and advantages.

How it works and the advantages

The main difference between this and traditional airless spraying is the additional supply of air through a second hose to the spray gun. While in the traditional airless method the material is forced through the nozzle at pressures between 30 and 150 bar, the added atomising air ensures a softer restriction of the spray jet. This method allows for better control and a more even coating.

Advantages of the Aircombi method:

  • High-quality surfaces: Better surface quality compared to the classic airless method.
  • Lower material consumption: Reduced overspray leads to more efficient use of materials.
  • Faster application: Higher area coverage and working speed due to larger application quantities compared to the airspray method.
  • Cost-effectiveness: the Aircombi process has proven to be highly cost-effective, especially for larger applications.

Applications and materials

The Aircombi method is perfectly suited for water- and solvent-based paints and varnishes. The wide range of nozzles for the Airless Plus / Aircombi spray method always offers the perfect solution for various materials such as water-based paints, solvent-based paints, primers or two-component paints.

Nozzle selection:

  • Orifice size: Determines the material flow rate.
  • Spray angle: Controls the width of the spray jet.

All our beschicht. Airless Plus nozzles are made of hard metal and have a pre-atomisation that ensures finer atomisation and significantly better surface quality. The robust hard metal also gives the nozzles a very long service life.
