Low-pressure pump spray packs

Low-pressure pump spray packs are complete Airspray feed systems – optionally mobile on a robust trolley or as a wall-mounted set. Each spray pack combines a diaphragm or transfer pump, regulators/gauges, filters and hoses, optionally a pressure tank and – depending on the version – the spray gun.

The result: fast commissioning, low-pulsation and gentle material feed with constant supply even over long hose lengths. We size flow rate (l/min), air volume/control pressure, filtration fineness, hose bundle and configuration precisely to the material, viscosity and required reach.

Applications & benefits

Ready-to-use systems for furniture and interior manufacturing, plastics processing, small metal parts coating, primer and stain applications as well as fine finishing.

Correctly designed spray packs ensure a steady flow rate with low pulsation and enable reproducible surfaces with less rework. Mobile systems offer flexible use, wall-mounted versions are ideal for stationary lines with limited space.

Technology & settings

  • Flow rate & air volume: derive from nozzle size, film thickness and cycle time.
  • Pump type: diaphragm for shear-sensitive media, transfer pumps for higher throughput.
  • Air quality: dryers and filters protect the material and the gun; regulators/gauges ensure stable pressures.
  • Materials: choice of steel, stainless steel or lined versions for chemical- and solvent-resistant applications.
  • Safety: consistently observe ATEX, grounding and pressure relief (PRV) requirements.

Accessories & integration

Accessories include spray packs (mobile or wall-mounted), material and air filters, pressure regulators/gauges, material and whip hoses, swivels, pulsation dampers, suction lances and drum follower plates, material distributors, pressure tanks as well as seal and maintenance kits.

We check compatibility (material, viscosity, connection pattern) and integrate the set optimally into workshop and line.

Benefits at a glance

  • Complete & ready to use – matched components in one set
  • Gentle, low-pulsation feed for Airspray
  • Mobile or wall-mounted – suited to the application scenario

Frequently asked questions about low-pressure pump spray packs

What is a low-pressure pump spray pack and what is it suitable for?

Spray packs are fully assembled low-pressure pump systems for Airspray – either mobile or as a wall-mounted set. They include a diaphragm or transfer pump, regulators/gauges, filters and hoses, optionally a pressure tank or the spray gun. The advantages are fast commissioning, matched components and high process reliability.

How do I choose flow rate, pump type and configuration (mobile/wall-mounted)?

The flow rate (l/min) is determined by nozzle orifice, film thickness and the desired cycle time. Diaphragm pumps are gentle on shear-sensitive media, transfer pumps provide high throughput. Mobile versions offer mobility & drum handling; wall-mounted versions save space. Choose filtration fineness to match the nozzle; consider ATEX and stainless steel for solvent-based media.

What ensures stable supply, safety and a clean finish?

Clean, dry compressed air, correctly sized hose bundles and optional pulsation dampers stabilize the flow. Precise regulators/gauges, short dead volumes and suitable filters increase quality. For safety: grounding/ATEX, tested pressure relief (PRV) and low-leakage connections.
