Airless hose and high-pressure hose package
There are different airless hoses and these differ mainly in the inner diameter, the connections and the length. The following article will help you to find the right airless hose and high-pressure hose package.
For a higher viscous material, such as facade paint, putty or glue, a hose with a larger inner diameter is used. In contrast to lower viscous material, such as varnishes or glazes, hoses with a smaller inner diameter are used. The length depends on the respective project and the respective delivery rate of the airless paint sprayer or piston pump. The connections also depend on the material, with stainless steel or galvanised steel being used for water-based paints. Accordingly, smaller threads such as 1/4" are used for the thinner hoses. For medium hose diameters, 3/8" is used, and for a DN 13 high-pressure hose, for example, 1/2" is used.
Finding the right airless high-pressure hose is relatively easy because it depends largely on the material to be processed.
The following overview will help you select the right airless hose:
- DN 3; 1/4": Varnishes, glazes or primers
- DN 4; 1/4": Solvent- and water-based paints, varnishes or primers
- DN 6; 1/4": solvent and water-based dispersion, facade paint and varnish
- DN 10; 3/8": solvent- and water-based paints, dispersion, facade paints and primers
- DN 13; 1/2": solvent and water-based paints, emulsion, facade paints, primers, adhesives and fillers.
The Airless hoses from beschicht. are designed for 270 bar as indicated.
The airless high-pressure hose packages each consist of an airless material hose and an air hose that transports the air to the high-pressure gun. The airless high-pressure material hose and the air hose are surrounded by a hose sheath, which ensures the practical function of the high-pressure hose package. In addition, it protects the air hose and the airless hose from external influences, which, for example, can affect the airless hose assembly when dragged across the floor.
