The manhole deposits kits combine all essential test and measuring instruments for sewer and wastewater inspection in a robust, portable case. They include instruments for determining pH value, conductivity, temperature and redox potential, supplemented by sensors for turbidity and total suspended solids (TSS). In addition, H₂S, CH₄ and O₂ gas detectors are included, as well as systems for sludge level and level measurement, sampling and visual or camera inspection. All components are calibratable and meet the requirements of DIN EN ISO 5667 for sampling and water monitoring.
The kits are specially designed for municipal utilities, sewer service providers, industrial companies and municipal drainage operators. They enable rapid on-site assessment of deposits and media before cleaning or rehabilitation. By combining measurements of water chemistry, gas content and sludge layer, corrosion risks (e.g. from H₂S) and odour issues can be identified at an early stage. The recorded data support targeted cleaning and provide audit-proof evidence – with minimal effort and high process reliability.
Water chemistry: Measurement of pH, conductivity (EC), redox potential and temperature with calibratable probes. In addition, turbidity and TSS (total suspended solids) are determined to assess sediment and suspended solids in the water.
Gas clearance measurement: Monitoring the concentrations of H₂S, CH₄ and O₂ before entering manholes or sewers. All readings are continuously recorded and automatically documented to ensure occupational safety.
Sludge level & level measurement: Use of ultrasonic probes or tape probes depending on manhole depth and hydraulic conditions. The results allow precise determination of sediment height and remaining volume.
Sampling: Performed in accordance with DIN EN ISO 5667 with clearly labelled sample bottles and complete sample identification. All steps are subject to documentation requirements and designed for audit-proof traceability.
Visual & camera inspection: Use of LED inspection lights or endoscopes for visual assessment of deposits, damage or foreign objects. Optionally, footage can be directly linked to the digital documentation.
Data acquisition & integration: All measurement results can be read out via digital interfaces and imported directly into standardised test reports or cloud systems.
