SAGOLA 3300 GTO Spray Gun – Professional paint spray gun with high-transfer technology for bodyshops, industry, wood & decor (TECH/HVLP/EVO/EPA/64S/62S)
The SAGOLA 3300 GTO is a high-quality, versatile spray gun in the mid-high segment and was developed as a fusion of two proven product lines: the 3300 PRO (industry) and the 4100 GTO (body shop). The result is a spray gun that combines robustness, ergonomics and finish performance in a single system – ideal for users who require consistent surface quality and high process reliability in their daily work.
The new forged, anodised aluminium body is specifically designed for low weight whilst ensuring maximum stability. Combined with the ergonomic handle and stainless steel trigger, the 3300 GTO enables comfortable, fatigue-free working – even during long shifts.
At the heart of the system are the high-transfer nozzle sets and the new aluminium air caps (TECH/HVLP/EVO/EPA), which ensure ultra-fine atomisation, wide spray patterns and highly controlled spray behaviour. This reduces overspray, improves material utilisation and ensures a clean, uniform finish. Depending on the system, the gun achieves a product transfer efficiency of at least 65% to 75%.
Thanks to the different systems, the 3300 GTO can be adapted very precisely to the application: TECH (maximum speed & performance in the bodyshop), HVLP (maximum savings & minimal mist), EVO (speed & efficiency in industry/woodworking), EPA (minimum air consumption with excellent finishes), as well as 64S/62S for high-viscosity materials with large nozzle sizes.
For many users, the 3300 GTO is also an attractive professional alternative to SATA (and comparable premium spray guns), when looking for a gun that offers excellent atomisation, high transfer efficiency and practical robustness – with a very convincing price-performance ratio and the ability to tailor the spray pattern to the specific material and process using various air cap systems.
Particularly practical: on the Bodyshop-TECH/HVLP variants, the RC2 air flow regulator with analogue pressure gauge is provided as a useful setup for adjusting the working pressure safely and reproducibly (ideal for consistent results).

Overview of variants
The SAGOLA 3300 GTO has a modular design: you select the system (air cap) and the appropriate nozzle size (mm) based on the material, desired finish and working style. As a general rule: smaller nozzles for finer finishes (clear coat/top coat) and larger nozzles for filler/primer or high-viscosity products. The following variants correspond exactly to the typical system areas: bodyshop (TECH/HVLP), industry/wood/decor (EVO/EPA/HVLP) and high viscosity (64S/62S).
| Variant / Designation | Design | Suitable for |
|---|---|---|
| TECH Air Cap & 1.20 mm | GTO TECH (Body shop – High speed & Maximum spray quality) | For very fine finishes and controlled application (e.g. clear coat for high-quality results). |
| TECH Air Cap & 1.30 mm | GTO TECH (Body shop) | Universal use in the bodyshop: clear coat/HS-MS and topcoat, when a good balance of speed and control is required. |
| TECH Air Cap & 1.40 mm | GTO TECH (Body Shop) | For users who want a higher material throughput with topcoats/single-stage systems or slightly higher application rates. |
| HVLP air cap & 1.20 mm | GTO HVLP (Body shop – Max. saving / Min. mist) | For very fine finishes with maximum savings and minimal mist – particularly pleasant for work carried out near the booth. |
| HVLP air cap & 1.30 mm | GTO HVLP (Bodyshop) | Very well-balanced – ideal for even application (including water-based base coats). |
| HVLP air cap & 1.40 mm | HVLP (Industrial/Wood/Decor) | For finishes & primers with a focus on material economy and a clean spray pattern. |
| HVLP air cap & 1.60 mm | HVLP (Industrial/Wood/Decor) | For primers/fillers or higher viscosity when higher throughput is required – whilst maintaining low overspray. |
| HVLP air cap & 1.80 mm | HVLP (Industrial/Wood/Decor) | For thicker primers/fillers and higher film thicknesses – when high application rates are required. |
| EVO air cap & 1.30 mm | 3300 EVO (High application speed / Maximum spray quality) | For industrial/wood finishes, where high productivity needs to be combined with excellent atomisation. |
| EVO air cap & 1.40 mm | 3300 EVO | Very well-balanced for topcoats/clear coats in industrial and wood applications – good balance between application and finish. |
| EVO air cap & 1.60 mm | 3300 EVO | For primers/fillers in faster production runs – when throughput and speed are key. |
| EPA air cap & 1.40 mm | 3300 EPA (min. air consumption / great finishes) | For users who wish to reduce air consumption whilst maintaining an excellent finish (e.g. continuous use, energy-efficient operation). |
| EPA air cap & 1.60 mm | 3300 EPA | Highly efficient for primers/fillers – when material flow is required but air intake should remain low. |
| EPA air cap & 1.80 mm | 3300 EPA | For higher film thicknesses/more viscous media – with a focus on low air consumption. |
| 64S air cap & 2.20 mm | 64S (High Viscosity) | For high-viscosity products where standard nozzles do not provide sufficient flow rate and a stable material flow is required. |
| 62S air cap & 2.80 mm | 62S (High Viscosity – maximum flow rate) | For very viscous materials and high film thicknesses – where maximum throughput is required (e.g. wood/industrial applications). |
Accessories/Variants: In addition to air cap and nozzle sizes, we offer suitable accessories to optimally tailor the gun to your process – particularly useful for reproducible pressure settings, clean filtration and comfortable handling: RC2 air flow regulator with analogue pressure gauge, 650 ml plastic gravity cup, aluminium gravity cup and product mini-filters (pack of 10).
Nozzle sets (nozzle + needle) – selection guide
The 3300 GTO operates with nozzle sets (nozzle + needle). This ensures that the nozzle and needle are optimally matched, which has a direct impact on atomisation, material flow and surface quality. The right selection helps to prevent runs, reduce overspray and build up a uniform finish.
- 1.20 – 1.30 mm: very fine finishes (clear coat, high-quality topcoats, clean texture)
- 1.40 mm: universal (topcoat, clear coat, good balance of application and control)
- 1.60 – 1.80 mm: primers/fillers, higher viscosity, higher throughput
- 2.20 – 2.80 mm: high-viscosity products with 64S/62S air caps (maximum material flow)
If you could just let me know whether you’re using clear coat, water-based paint, topcoat, filler or a high-viscosity material (and your desired application thickness), I can recommend the right combination of air cap and nozzle size.
Tip: HVLP is ideal if you want to save material and minimise overspray. TECH is the choice for maximum speed and very high performance in the bodyshop. EPA is recommended if air consumption needs to be particularly low, whilst EVO is often the best mix of speed and finish in industrial and woodworking applications.
Intended use / Applications
The 3300 GTO is a true all-round system because it covers multiple application areas. The decisive factor is the combination of air cap (spray pattern) and nozzle size (material flow rate).
- Body shop / vehicle painting: HS/MS clear coats, single-stage, water-based, metallics, silver/pearl (TECH/HVLP)
- Industry: Topcoats, clear coats, industrial paints, primers – robust, reproducible, efficient (EVO/EPA/HVLP)
- Wood & Furniture: Paints/clear coats, water-based systems, solvent-based systems – good finishes and high throughput (EVO/EPA)
- Decoration: very clean finishes with reduced air consumption (EPA)
- Primers/fillers: larger nozzle sizes for material build-up and uniform film thicknesses (HVLP/EVO/EPA 1.60–1.80)
- High-viscosity products: when maximum flow rate is required (64S 2.20 / 62S 2.80)
- Series production: low-maintenance design & quick cleaning – ideal for daily use
The 3300 GTO is particularly useful wherever finish quality, material efficiency and process reliability are required simultaneously – from the workshop to industrial production.
