Agitator Stations

Discover mobile and stationary mixing stations with lifting device, frame and vessel holder including clamps – optionally with protective hood, drip tray or integrated scale. Choose between pneumatic or electric drive, optionally with gearbox, speed control, ATEX protection and stainless-steel design. From vessel volume and viscosity through torque, speed and lift height to compatibility with pressure and mixing vessels – we configure your agitator station precisely for your process.

Use & Benefits

Ergonomic stirring with safe lifting, homogeneous mixtures without sedimentation and defined shear for reproducible results. Properly designed agitator stations shorten setup times, increase process safety and ensure repeatable results – ideal for workshop, laboratory and series production.

Technology & Settings

  • Lift & working height: choose to suit vessel size and fill level – manual, pneumatic or electric.
  • Frame & statics: design for vessel weight and torque; use secure clamps or band clamps.
  • Drive: pneumatic or electric, with optional gearbox and speed control.
  • Material & safety: stainless steel for easy cleaning; drip trays and protective hoods for safe operation.
  • ATEX & grounding: approved for hazardous (Ex) zones; grounding <1 MΩ consistently implemented.

Accessories & Integration

Accessories include agitators and air motors, lift modules, adapter plates and clamps, shafts and couplings, impellers (propeller, dissolver, anchor, folding blades), speed controllers and FRL units, drip trays, protective hoods, scales and sensors (level, temperature) as well as ATEX grounding. We perform the compatibility check (vessel, medium, ATEX, interfaces) and integrate the station seamlessly into pressure vessels and systems.

Benefits at a glance

  • Ergonomic lift & secure vessel holding
  • Reproducible mixing quality thanks to suitable geometry
  • Fast cleaning due to stainless steel & drip tray
  • ATEX & manufacturer-compatible with leading systems

Frequently asked questions about agitator stations

What types of agitator stations are there and what are they suitable for?

There are mobile and stationary mixing stations with manual, pneumatic or electric lift. They combine frame, lifting device, agitator drive, vessel holder/clamps and optionally drip tray, protective hood or scale. For hazardous areas, ATEX versions are available; stainless steel is suitable for sensitive media and easy cleaning.

How do I size lift, frame and drive for my application?

The design is based on vessel volume, viscosity and impeller geometry. Lift height/working height must match the fill level; frame statics and clamps secure the vessel. The drive torque is derived from viscosity and desired tip speed, the speed from the mixing task; gearboxes increase torque at low speed.

Which factors influence ergonomics, safety and cleaning?

Ergonomics benefits from stepless lift, a rotatable holder and short setup time. Safety is increased by protective hoods, interlocks, grounding/ATEX concept and stable clamps. Fast cleaning is enabled by stainless steel, smooth surfaces, drip tray and CIP-capable components; tidy cable and hose routing avoids trip hazards.
