Um bei Lackierungen den richtigen Farbton zu treffen, ist der korrekt eingestellte Eingangsdruck an der Pistole mitentscheidend. Ist dieser zu niedrig oder zu hoch, kann der Farbton abweichen. Die Folge sind teure Nacharbeiten, die den Betriebsablauf stören. Ausschließen lässt sich die Fehlerursache „falscher Eingangsfließdruck“ mit SATA Digitalpistolen oder mit dem Zubehör SATA adam 2 und SATA adam 2 U. Im Handumdrehen lässt sich das Display von einer Lackierpistole abnehmen; beispielsweise um es auf einer anderen Pistole mit vormontiertem „dock“ einzusetzen. Somit ist der SATA adam 2 hoch flexibel nutzbar. Das feststehende Display erlaubt stets ein bequemes Ablesen des Drucks.
