The Tru-Cure UV-LED™ is a portable, hand-held device for curing UV materials in automotive refinishing and touch-up applications.The Tru-Cure UV LED device is equipped with a unique lens that produces uniform UV intensity over the entire light coverage, ensuring proper curing over the entire surface. Conventional UV devices use standard lenses that can be inconsistent and may over cure the centre area of objects while the outer edges are not sufficiently cured.
In addition, the Tru-Cure UV LED device from Trisk | DeVilbiss delivers higher energy (power) than competitive devices in this price segment. The average intensity is 165 mW/cm 2 at a distance of 10 cm (4") from the surface.
The UV light intensity and energy is constant throughout the life of the battery charge - regardless of whether the battery has a residual capacity of 90 % or 10 %, the UV intensity remains unchanged.
