Efficient exhaust air and ventilation technology forms the basis for safe and clean paint mixing rooms. It combines directed supply and exhaust air systems with source-near capture at mixing benches and filling stations, ensuring vapors and particles are removed directly at the point of origin. ATEX-rated fans ensure safe operation in explosive atmospheres, while multi-stage filter systems – for example with ePM1 or activated carbon filters – effectively retain pollutants. Consistent grounding and continuous pressure monitoring ensure controlled system operation at all times. From initial planning to installation and final approval, we accompany the entire process including proof of air change rates and Ex zone classification.
Our exhaust systems are used in automotive and OEM operations, industrial and plastic coating, and in body and paint workshops. Properly designed systems reduce solvent exposure and odor emissions, increase occupational safety and ensure consistent process conditions. Targeted air guidance improves the reproducibility of coating results – with verifiable approvals and digitally documented traceability.
Capture is achieved through front-, edge- or table extractions, positioned directly at mixing benches or filling points. For air guidance, supply and exhaust air are precisely matched to achieve constant air change and streamlined duct routing. Filter stages with prefilter, ePM1 and optionally activated carbon ensure air quality. Monitoring includes differential pressure and volume flow sensors, coupled with automatic fault notifications for system control. Compliance aspects such as Ex zones, grounding/EKS and defined maintenance and cleaning intervals ensure long-term operational safety. All system data – from serial numbers and users to labels/QR codes, PDF/CSV exports and limit reports – are recorded for seamless documentation.
Key components include extraction arms and capture elements, high-performance fans, robust filter housings and flow-optimized duct systems. These are complemented by supply air modules, silencers, precise sensors and measurement points and intelligent control units for pressure and volume flow regulation. During planning, we define the room layout, material flow and measurement point plan, integrating the exhaust system fully into existing QS workflows, reporting archives and audit processes. The result is an efficient, safe and compliant ventilation system tailored to the mixing room.

Core components include capture elements at mixing bench/filling station (front-, edge- or table extraction), supply and exhaust ducts, ATEX-rated fans, filter stages (e.g. prefilter, ePM1, optionally activated carbon), noise damping, supply air integration, grounding/discharge and measurement & monitoring technology (differential pressure, volume flow). Additional: Ex lighting and hazardous material storage (e.g. Type 90).
Design is based on source-near capture with adequate airflow velocity, defined air change rates and directed supply/exhaust air that removes solvents quickly. Supply air is introduced draft-free and temperature controlled. Ex zones, duct routing, filter resistance and maintenance intervals must be considered and documented during planning.
Documented are measurement points, volume flows, differential pressures, filter classes/changes, Ex zoning, grounding concept, maintenance and cleaning intervals, fault notifications and approvals. Evidence is provided as PDF/CSV with timestamp, serial numbers/labels and limit checks; training and test plans ensure sustainability.
We plan and supply exhaust & ventilation systems including capture, fans, filtration, monitoring and documentation – from initial assessment to final approval. Result: safe processes, low emissions and audit-proof documentation.
