The Tieser solvent distillation unit with stainless steel cooler (INOX) These distillation units from the Distatic series are available with an optional usable capacity of 12, 25 or 60 litres. They are suitable for recovering and reusing contaminated solvent from cleaning and degreasing processes.
With the D 25 AX you can distil 25-30 litres per process.
Process description:
By utilising simple distillation, contaminants (such as resins, polymers, pigments, paints, oils, etc.) are separated from the original solvent. The soiled solvent is boiled in a stainless steel vessel (Inox AISI 304). Uniform heating takes place via a heating jacket made of heat transfer oil, which is heated by one or more heating rods. The solvent vapours produced are fed into an air- or water-cooled condenser. The condensed solvent is collected directly in a container for subsequent reuse. In the case of liquid soiling, the residues are emptied by simply tipping the tank. For solid soiling, use a heat- and solvent-resistant foil bag. The solvent properties are not changed by the distillation, so that the process can be repeated as often as required. All systems can be equipped with a vacuum group. This mode of operation can be used for solvents with very high boiling temperatures or for flammable solvents with close boiling and spontaneous ignition temperatures. The vacuum can be generated pneumatically or electrically, depending on requirements.
