What are airless, airless plus and aircombi nozzles?
Airless spraying:
In airless (air-free) atomisation, the material is merely atomised by the material pressure at the airless spray gun, i.e. without air, in contrast to air atomisation. An electrically, pneumatically or petrol-driven airless pump pressurises the material and forces a defined quantity of material through a nozzle bore at up to 25 MPa. There the material is divided into a spray jet and finely atomised. Airless spraying is used primarily for applying emulsions, but it is also used for most painting jobs on construction sites.
Usually, airless nozzles come with a pressed-in sintered carbide core to withstand the most abrasive materials for a correspondingly long time. High-precision manufacturing, as well as the materials used in the beschicht. first-class, ensure extraordinary durability and performance, which in turn has a positive effect on the user's wallet. No matter what material you want to process, we have the right airless nozzle for you. The shape and geometry of the Beschicht. Airless nozzles also ensure compatibility with the major market competitors, thus ensuring maximum flexibility.
If clogging occurs during work due to impurities in the coating material, the airless nozzle is simply turned 180°, the impurity is removed by pulling the trigger of the spray gun and work can continue.
The wide range of applications for airless nozzles can be found with the selected airless nozzle. The different sizes of the nozzles make the respective nozzle size suitable for paints, oils, release agents, fillers, rust protection, emulsions and latex paints. The table for selecting the airless nozzle can be found with the appropriate nozzle.
Airless plus / Aircombi spraying method
The wide range of nozzles for the Airless Plus / Aircombi spraying process always offers the perfect nozzle variant for different materials such as water-based paints, solvent-based paints, primers or even two-component paints. The size of the bore determines the flow rate and the spray angle determines the width of the spray jet. All beschicht. All Airless Plus nozzles are made of hard metal and have a pre-atomiser which ensures better and finer atomisation. This significantly improves the surface quality. The hard metal of the Airless Plus nozzles gives them a very long service life.
The air-assisted airless spraying method, also known as the Aircombi method, is ideal for water- and solvent-based paints and varnishes.
The advantages of this air-assisted airless plus method:
- surfaces of higher quality than with the conventional airless method
- Lower material consumption due to less overspray
- faster application (high area coverage / working speed) due to larger application quantity compared to the airspray method
- In principle, this can be considered a very economical spraying method for larger applications.
The disadvantages are that it is unsuitable for small quantities and the atomisation is not as fine as with the airspray method.
beschicht. offers manual Airless Plus / Aircombi hand guns and automatic guns.
Accessories such as hoses and air caps are compatible with those of other manufacturers on the market.
The beschicht. Airless Plus nozzles for the manual spray gun are compatible with Wagner GM 4700 and GA 4000. The beschicht. Airless Plus nozzles for automatic spray guns are compatible with Kremlin guns.
